Juventus striker Paulo Dybala's Latest Injury Update: What's Next?
Juventus striker Paulo Dybala has been ruled out for the rest of the season after suffering a serious knee injury in training on Wednesday.
Dybala, who is currently the top scorer for Juventus with 21 goals this season, suffered the injury while playing against Napoli on Tuesday night and was taken to hospital by his club doctors.
The Italian national team captain said that he expected Dybala to be back next month but had no idea how long it would take him to fully recover.
"It's a really tough decision," Dybala told Sky Italia. "I'm very sorry to have to go through that, but I don't know when I'll be able to come back."
Despite the setback, Dybala remains confident that he will return to full fitness before the start of the new campaign.
"I'm not going to give up on my career," Dybala added. "I'll do everything possible to get myself ready for the season ahead."
Meanwhile, Dybala's teammates have expressed their support for their teammate, urging him to persevere through the difficult times.

In addition to Dybala, Juventus also lost midfielder Federico Chiesa to a hamstring injury during training on Tuesday. The loss means that they will be without key players such as Romelu Lukaku, who is recovering from a calf injury, and Edinson Cavani, who has recovered from a groin strain.
